Presenter Proposal Information

The proposal deadline for the poster session has been extended to April 30, 2012. Presenters will be notified by May 25, 2012 whether their proposals have been accepted. Send in your presenter proposal form today!

Literacy Action Network and the Minnesota Community Education Association are seeking poster presentation proposals for the 2012 ABE State Summer Institute, held August 15-17. We hope that new and experienced ABE staff will consider sharing their ideas and expertise with their colleagues at this statewide conference. Proposals are due April 30, 2012, and presenters will be notified by May 25, 2012 regarding proposal acceptance.

 A poster presentation is simply another format option. Poster presenters develop a visual display to present information and are available for 60 minutes to discuss content with participants. Poster presenters may choose to use video, PowerPoint, poster board or other visual media for their displays. Poster session proposals will be reviewed using the same process as other session proposals. Those that are selected will be listed in the program. If you are new to presenting or if you’d like to share an idea that lends itself to visual representation, you might want to consider doing a poster session this year!
